It's about the air

I am dismayed at the large amount of time and effort recently spent on a series of meaningless gun rights proposals in the Utah Legislature. All this during a time when the very air these elected officials breath may be killing them, their families and their friends.

Where is proposed legislation to clean up toxic air in Utah? Both the executive and legislative branches of our state government seem to be blind to this public health crisis, putting thousands of people in harm's way.

What kind of society do we have in Utah that continues to elect these officials, year after year? What values are important to the people of Utah?
