Re "A sinking ship: Stephenson bill ignores reality" (Our View, Feb. 16):
For intelligent people in the Legislature to be forced to deal with the nonsense produced by Sen. Howard Stephenson, R-Draper, such as SB110, is counterproductive to fixing the serious problems the state is facing.
Can't the governor create a position outside of the country where Stephenson could go on special assignment and work his crazy magic? There has to be some group somewhere who needs a savior such as him.
Utah doesn't.
