Re "House votes to ban cell phone use by teen drivers" (Tribune, Feb. 26):

Utah's lawmakers are poised to outlaw teenagers from talking on cell phones while driving. But some fear that HB103 may be the first step on a slippery slope to outlawing the behavior for adults. Gee, I always thought that the best practice for adults in dealing with teenagers was "practice what you preach."

But I guess that's asking too much — for our legislators to act like adults.
