There will be plenty of eyes on Weber's Hayden Schenck during the Class 5A tournament this week in Ogden.

The senior, whose 26 points per game were the second best in the state this year, has an offer to play at Dixie State University. But he's also been in talks with Utah, BYU, Utah State and Weber State.

"The knee kind of freaks them out," he said after Monday's opening-round win over West.

Schenck tore his ACL in the first round of last year's playoffs, but he rebounded quickly from his surgery. Schenck played in all 23 games for the Warriors this season and has led them to a quarterfinal matchup Wednesday with Alta.

"My knee feels fine now," he said.
