Cedar City police were asking for the public's help locating a man who robbed a Mountain America Credit Union.
Officers said an older white man walked into the bank about 1:30 p.m. at 1701 W. Royal Hunte Drive and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank, according to a news release.
Cedar Middle School, which is near the bank, was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
The robber was described as being in his 50s with gray hair. He was last seen wearing faded blue jeans, a green shirt and a light green baseball-style cap. He was dressed in a green coat and a tan collar.
