Colby Croft was 3-for-4 and Kai Hatch had a run and an RBI for the Wolverines (4-4), who also beat the Wildcats (7-2) in Orem last season.

Zach Blair finished second at 1-under par at the 12-team North Ranch Intercollegiate, leading BYU to a second-place finish behind USC in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Blair was the only golfer to shoot even or better in all three rounds, BYU's Jordan Hammer tied for fourth at 3 over and USC's Yi Keun Chang won the tournament at 2 under.
The Trojans finished at plus 11, followed by BYU (plus 20) and Pepperdine (plus 23).

Amanda Keith shot 13 over to place 16th, leading BYU to an eighth-place finish out of 12 teams at the UC Irvine Invitational in Santa Ana, Calif. Alex Kim won the tournament at 1 under, leading Gonzaga to a first-place finish at plus 21. UC Irvine was second at plus 43 followed by Long Beach State (plus 50). The Cougars finished at plus 81.
