Utah women's basketball: Utes crush Oregon 70-52

Taryn Wicijowski posted 18 points and 9 rebounds, and Iwalani Rodrigues added 17 points and 8 boards as the University of Utah women's basketball team crushed Oregon in both teams' regular-season finale 70-52 in Eugene, Ore., on Sunday.

The Utes (17-12, 8-10 Pac-12) jumped to a 15-6 lead early and led by as much as 25 points in the second half.

Two other Utah players scored in double digits: Michelle Plouffe with 13 points (along with 8 rebounds) and Cheyenne Wilson with 12. The Utes outrebounded the Ducks (4-26, 2-16) 36-23 and were a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line.

Up next for Utah is the Pac-12 tournament in Seattle. The Utes are the No. 6 seed and will play 11th-seeded Arzona on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in a game televised by the Pac-12 Network.
