A Washington County woman remained partially paralyzed and in critical condition Monday, the day after she was injured in a one-car rollover on Interstate 15.

Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Steve Winward said 25-year-old Marielen Gonzales was initially taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George following the 4:30 p.m. Sunday crash in the southbound lanes of I-15 just north of Leeds. She was then life-flighted to a hospital in Las Vegas.

UHP troopers said Gonzales was not wearing a seat belt when she apparently drifted out of her lane of travel, over-corrected and rolled. She was ejected from the car, a 1994 Honda Accord.
