Sandy • Spring must be near.

A sure sign is that the annual Salt Lake Tribune Home and Garden Show opens its three-day run Friday at the South Towne Expo Center, featuring dozens of vendors offering products designed to improve both indoor and outdoor living spaces.

As is the case with most trade shows, the event gives homeowners a one-stop place to examine services and products, and to compare prices.

The show will feature appearances by Chip Wade of HGTV's "Elbow Room" and Mike Baird of Spike TV's "Flip Men," an ask-a-designer workshop, and 25,000-square-feet of backyards in the Outdoor Living Space area. —
