BYU's Tori Almond and J.C. Clayton were honored by the Pacific Coast Softball Conference as Pitcher of the Week and Player of the Week, respectively. For Clayton, it was the second time in as many weeks she has been honored by the conference.

Almond picked up two wins in the San Diego Classic as the team defeated Boise State 8-1 and New Mexico 6-1, bringing her record to 4-3 on the season. She had a 1.52 earned-run average in her three appearances over the weekend, allowing just two earned runs on five hits. She held opponents to a .152 batting average while also striking out 10.

Clayton extended her season hitting-streak to 19 games with a hit in all five games of the San Diego Classic. Her streak ties for the second-highest streak in PCSC history and third-highest in BYU history. She is only two games away from tying both records.

Clayton hit .500 with three runs and three RBI.
