Ray Quinney & Nebeker, a Salt Lake City-based law firm, said two of its attorneys have been elected shareholders. Matthew Cannon is a member of the firm's litigation section, where he focuses on commercial litigation matters. Maria Heckel also litigates commercial issues before trial and appellate courts and in administrative proceedings.

The Salt Lake City-based engineering firm of Forsgren Associates has announced that Alan Taylor has joined its civil engineering team as senior project manager. He has more than 25 years of experience working with public and private entities. His expertise includes water system, sewer system and storm drainage design.

C.R. England, a Salt Lake City-based trucking company, has named Josh England chief financial officer. His appointment follows the retirement of Keith Wallace, which was effective Jan. 18. England Logistics, a freight brokerage firm, has named Jason Beardall president. He formerly served as executive vice president.

William E. Hewitt Jr., an operations specialist at Salt Lake City International Airport, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in air transportation. A second-generation aviation worker, Hewitt has nearly 40 years of experience in air transportation.

David L. Smith has been named managing partner at Penna Powers Brian Haynes, a Salt Lake-based advertising, public relations and digital agency, effective this month. The agency also hired Kyle Kubovchik as Nevada director to lead its operations in that state.

InsideSales.com, a Provo provider of cloud-based sales automation technology, said Rob Christensen has joined the company as vice president of research and development, and software architecture. He has nearly two decades of "software as a service" design experience.

The executive committee of Friends for Sight, a nonprofit organization committed to preserving the sight of people in Utah, has announced that Kate Chidester Edwards is its new CEO. She succeeds Coleen Malouf, who directed operations for the past 28 years and retired on Dec. 31.

Wilson Electronics, St. George, has promoted Broc Jenkins to business development manager of its M2M, or machine-to-machine, division.
