Utahns will see sun, sun and more sun this week.

Add in warming temperatures and it might seem like spring has sprung a week earlier than its March 20 arrival this year.

By Thursday, temperatures are expected to warm to 57, according to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City.

With warming temperatures comes an increased avalanche danger for back-country enthusiasts.

The Uinta and Skyline ranges on Sunday had a "considerable" risk of snow slides, meaning expert avalanche skills are required to navigate those ranges. The Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake, Provo and Moab ranges were under a "moderate" risk.Air quality over Utah was expected to be good through Tuesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Environmental Quality.
