There was the 15 points.

There were the nine rebounds.

There was his indelible mark on the game.

Freshman Jordan Loveridge played one of his best all-around games against USC in a 69-66 win. Truthfully, all the freshmen did.

Dakarai Tucker hit two massive 3-pointers against the Trojans. Brandon Taylor playd a superb floor game in leading the Utes and getting good shots against USC's defense. Jeremy Olsen played tough in the paint.

But Loveridge scored inside. He scored on the perimeter. He rebounded and he made plays off the dribble. Everything his coach wanted him to do.

Two days ago, Loveridge was left off the all-freshman Pac-12 team. On Wednesday, he showed that he is one of the best first year players in the league without a doubt.
