Backcountry.com hosts contest for women software designers

Park City-based Backcountry.com is hosting its first Women's Hackathon this weekend, a competition for women software engineers to showcase their programming talents.

Friday and Saturday at the company's headquarters, teams of up to four will develop software projects from scratch in 24 hours. Winners from the field of college students and professionals will each receive an iPad mini.
