How to trim population

I congratulate the Utah Legislature for finally addressing the elephant in the room — overpopulation. It's been clear for years that our pollution, destruction of open lands and general lowering of quality of life is due to overpopulation. Yet, this subject has been taboo.

Thanks to our wise politicians, this problem will now be attacked, albeit by indirect methods. In their wisdom, they ignored adult driver cellphone use and voted to relax gun regulations, allowing anyone to carry a concealed weapon. What great population-reducing methods!

However, I do not personally want to help population reduction, so I will be a more attentive driver, bicyclist and pedestrian and avoid people with bulges in their pockets (no disrespect meant toward Mae West).
