Local artists Oh, Be Clever and DJ Lishus to headline benefit concert

Project SLC has put together a fundraiser event featuring local musicians and sponsors in order to raise funds to apply for their 501(c)3 status.

Project SLC will use the funds to raise money for K-12 arts education throughout Utah.

Project SLC will hosting a benefit concert April 3 at The Metro Bar located in downtown Salt Lake.

The event will feature local artists Oh, Be Clever and DJ Lishus as well as local business sponsors Beacon Audio and Discrete Headwear.

All proceeds will go to Project SLC filing its 501(c)3 status and providing after school programs in federally-funded school districts.

Project SLC formed in 2012 in order to provide for the dwindling arts programs in public schools. Project SLC seeks to put together after school programs focusing on music, art, photography and film. The programs will be instituted in one Utah school district a year during the fall.
