After two snowy days, Sunday marks the return of spring.

The wintry storm brought 5.5 inches to Draper, 3 inches to Olympus Cove and 2 inches of snow to Sandy, according to reports from The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City. Meteorologists expected lake effect snow to bring another 1 to 4 inches to the Tooele Valley and western Salt Lake Valley through Saturday morning before tapering off in the afternoon.

Mountain snow showers will continue into Sunday, but the NWS does not expect any more accumulation. For the northern valleys, clouds are expected to clear out on Sunday, with temperatures warming into the mid- to upper-40s by Monday.

Southern Utah will maintain its more spring-like weather, with temperatures in the 60s and sunny days with 5-7 mph winds.

All of the backcountry regions in Utah remain at a moderate risk for snowslides on Sunday, except for Moab-area mountains, which the Utah Avalanche Center downgraded to a "low" chance.

Salt Lake City is expected to hit a high temperature of 42 degrees on Sunday and 47 Monday; Ogden's highs should hit 38 and 44 degrees, respectively; Provo 43 and 49; Logan 36 and 41; Wendover 46 and 49; Duchesne 37 and 39; Cedar City 48 and 53; St. George 65 and 68; and Moab 49 and 52 degrees.
