In "Woman, know thy place" (Forum, March 25), James Marples is certain that if Brigham Young were alive today he would be denouncing the role of women in church and society.
I am equally certain Brother Brigham would either join the modern world, or load up the pushcarts to find a location more aligned with Marples' view. Afghanistan and the Taliban come to mind.
