Re "Utah Senators Lee, Hatch call for immigration reform's delay" (Tribune, March 21):

Sen. Mike Lee's been reading too many law books or listening to lobbyists with big bucks in their pockets. We don't need another three years of debate, 100 hours of hearings and 300 witnesses to decide what's right for people who want to work, who do work and who desire to improve their families' lives. They are already our neighbors and our friends.

We elect men and women with life experience to do what's right. Get on with it!

Our similarly delay-prone senior Sen. Orrin Hatch has already had years and years to get something on immigration done, so, Sen. Lee, bring him along, too.
