Prevent child abuse • The Taylorsville Exchange Club will plant a "pinwheel garden" in honor of Child Abuse Prevention month at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at City Hall, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd. (5325 South).

West Valley City

Nurses and war • Nurses from Utah and the British Isles will hold a forum comparing wartime experiences 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South. The presentation is part of the Nurses at War Project, designed to help others understand the role of military nurses.
