Hockey: Utah Grizzlies win regular-season finale

The Utah Grizzlies wrapped up their regular-season ECHL schedule with a 4-3 shootout win over the Colorado Eagles on Saturday night at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

Jordan Clendinning, Berkley Scott and Brent Gwidt all scored in regulation for Utah.

Utah goalkeeper Shane Owen made 41 saves to earn the win, stopping four of Colorado's five shots in the shootout.

The Grizzlies open the Western Conference playoffs Tuesday night in Ontario, Calif., against the Reign. Game 2 in the best-of-seven series is Wednesday at Ontario, with Games 3 and 4 scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Maverik Center.
