During portions of the Jazz's 116-107 win over the Nets on Saturday night at EnergySolutions Arena, Deron Williams was going head-to-head against Gordon Hayward. In the 2010 draft, the Jazz used the No. 9 pick on Hayward. Two games into his professional career, Williams chastised the rookie on the court during the fourth quarter of a 110-94 home loss to Phoenix.Reminded of the incident after the Jazz-Nets game, Williams said, "Jazz fans still talk about that — about me yelling at him?"Told it remains a topic of discussion in Jazz Nation, Williams said, "Gordon is cool, you know. I like him. I like him a lot as a player. He's going to be a special player."Late in the first half against the Jazz, Williams found a lane to the basket and seemed ready to drop the ball over the rim for a layup. But Hayward blocked the shot, leading to low-key discussion between the former teammates near mid-court."He told me how he knew he held me with his off hand," Williams said. "But it was a block — a good block."— Steve Luhm
