The Fox School of Wine in Park City is offering a one-hour "Boxed Wine for Warm Adventures" class on Saturday, April 6, where participants will taste two white and three red boxed wines.

While the boxed drinks have a reputation as low-brow, owner Kirsten Fox, a sommelier and certified specialist of wine, says the packaging is better for the environment, the wine is often good and can last up to a month without refrigeration and it's easier to back on trips than breakable wine bottles.

When • Saturday, April 6, 6-7 p.m.

Where • Silver Baron Lodge, 2900 Deer Valley Drive East, Park City.

Cost • $15
