Utah Valley softball: Amanda Robinson named PCSC Player of Week

For the second time this season, Utah Valley first baseman Amanda Robinson was named the Pacific Coast Softball Conference Player of the Week. In five games last week, Robinson went 10 for 17 with eight RBIs as the Wolverines (20-12, 5-3 PCSC) went 4-1.

For the season, Robinson leads UVU with a .394 batting average and four homers. She ranks second in RBIs with 20, just one behind second baseman Dynasty Lauvai.

Utah Valley is back in action Wednesday as it visits Weber State for an afternoon doubleheader. Games are set for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Wildcat Softball Field in Ogden.
