Preliminary finding: Logan fisherman's death accidental drowning

The Utah State Medical Examiner's Office has made a preliminary finding of accidental drowning in the death of a fisherman found dead in the Logan River last week.
Logan Assistant Police Chief Jeff Curtis said Tuesday that results from forensic blood tests were still weeks away, but authorities did not expect any signs of drugs or alcohol to show up.
There were no signs of foul play. "It just appears to have been an accident," Curtis said.
Kenneth Schwartz, 64, was found dead in the river on Friday after his fishing gear was spotted. His body was discovered by a passer-by downstream near 843 South and 100 West on Friday morning.
