A one-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near Riverdale on Wednesday morning left one man dead.

Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lawrence Hopper said fatigue or a medical problem were being investigated after Maurice Charlston's Ford Explorer went out of control as it traveled northbound about 5:30 a.m. near mile post 339.

Troopers say the 56-year-old Ogden man veered to the right, overcorrected and then rolled at least four times. Although Charlston was wearing a seat belt, he was partially ejected from the car.

UHP said Charlston was dead at the scene.

While he lived in Ogden, his relatives live in Tennesee, Hopper said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident and no other injuries were reported.

The accident restricted commuter traffic to one lane through the area while the wreckage was cleared and troopers investigated.
