State colleges: Oregon sweeps Utah in Pac-12 softball

Eugene, Ore. • Chalese Fankhauser and Jackie Sweet hit back-to-back home runs in the third inning, but it wasn't enough as Oregon completed a three-game sweep of Utah in Pac-12 softball Wednesday.

The Utes (14-19-1, 1-8) have lost 13 of their past 14 games.

Utah State 12, Idaho State 4 • Christine Thomsen, Mandy Harmon and Nicole Arata each hit a home run for the Aggies (6-28).

Men's tennis

Weber State 4, Utah State 3 • In Ogden, the Wildcats won the doubles point and three of six singles matches, including Ryan Garner's 7-6, 7-5 victory over Curran Wearmouth at No. 6 singles.
