Utah Transit Authority is running extra TRAX trains this weekend to accommodate LDS General Conference crowds.

On Saturday, UTA will run extra trains before and after each conference session on the blue line. Extra TRAX trains to downtown will leave Sandy Civic Center at 8:26 a.m., 8:46 a.m., 12:26 p.m., 12:46 p.m., 4:26 p.m. and 4:46 p.m.

Green and red line trains will be operating on their normal Saturday schedule of every 20 minutes.

On Sunday, every-20-minute service begins a little earlier than normal. It will begin on the blue line at 7:56 a.m., the red line at 7:59 a.m. and the green line at 8:19 a.m. Extra trains on the blue line will also leave Sandy Civic Center at 8:26 a.m., 8:46 a.m., 12:26 p.m. and 12:46 p.m.

Of note, FrontRunner commuter rail does not operate on Sundays. On Saturday, it offers service every 90 minutes.

To save time at vending machines amid crowds, UTA encourages riders to buy round-trip tickets. Also available are group passes good for up to four people for $15 (a round trip for four people would normally cost $20).
