Saturday's Nebraska Cornhuskers' intrasquad spring game featured a surprising appearance by 7-year-old Jack Hoffman, a Nebraska fan fighting brain cancer.He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April 2011 after a series of seizures. He had two surgeries that year, the most recent in October, and has not had a seizure since, the Daily Nebraskan reported in October.After he was diagnosed with the tumor, he developed a close friendship with the football team.
