Utah senior second baseman Jackie Sweet was named the Pac-12's Player of the Week.

Sweet led the Utes with a .550 batting average, including two doubles, a triple and a home run for a .900 slugging percentage. She had 11 hits in 20 at-bats for five RBI.

Sweet extended her team-high hit streak to 13 games with a 3-for-4, two-RBI output at the plate in the 8-4 upset over then-No. 15 UCLA. The Corona, Calif., native, is second on the team with a .320 batting average and is tied for third on the squad with 18 RBI. She has 10 extra-base hits in 2013, which includes six doubles, three home runs and a triple. The Utes earned their first-ever Pac-12 series victory over the weekend winning two-of-three games against then-No. 15 UCLA.
