Murray police seek help in bringing bank-robbing trio to justice

Police are asking the public for help in identifying and locating three men who robbed a Key Bank branch office in Murray.

Murray police spokesman Kenny Bass released security camera images Tuesday from the robbery, which took place just after 4 p.m. on March 26 at 5625 S. Waterbury Way.

The suspects, armed with handguns, entered the bank lobby and ordered employees and customers onto the floor. Two of the men then jumped over a counter and scooped an unspecified amount of cash into two duffle bags.

All three then fled in a green Toyota Camry that police later found abandoned and determined had been stolen.

Bass described all three suspects as being in their mid-20s. The first suspect was a white male, about 5-foot-10 and with a thin build, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a mask covering half his face. The second suspect, race unknown, was about the same height but stockier in build; and the third suspect was a white male, also about 5-foot-10 and thin, wearing a black or burgundy hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a mask.
