The Salt Lake Community College softball team has won 16 of its last 17 games and has moved up to No. 2 in the latest NJCAA poll.
The Bruins (36-5), who moved up two spots from fourth, host Scenic West Athletic Conference rival and No. 6-ranked College of Southern Idaho (35-7) in a pair of doubleheaders Friday and Saturday at Bruin Field.
Friday's twin-bill is scheduled for 1 p.m., while Saturday's first pitch is noon.
SLCC averages 7.6 runs a game, while allowing an average of 1.9 runs. Sophomore pitcher MaCauley Flint (18-2) leads the Bruins with a 0.71 earned-run average.
