Help thy neighbor • Saturday, April 27, is the sixth annual Hands on Holladay citywide clean-up powered through neighbors helping neighbors. The action starts at 9 a.m. and culminates with a noon barbecue behind City Hall at 4580 S. 2300 East. For more information or to find out about dumpster availability, call Michele Bohling at 801-527-2457 by April 20.

Free building/development seminar • On Thursday, April 25, the city will host an informative session regarding changes in its general plan and updates to the development and building process, plus code and inspection changes. The class begins at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 1600 W. Towne Center Drive, South Jordan. Prosthetic limb drive • April is Amputee Awareness Month and Hope Bevilhymer, founder of Limbs of Hope Foundation, is sponsoring its second annual prosthetic limb drive and bake sale from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Ream's Food Store, 3665 W. 6200 South, West Jordan. Along with collecting new and used prosthetics, Limbs of Hope is seeking financial donations.
