Chuckie Keeton isn't just Utah State's most high-profile athlete - he's won over the state as well.

At Tuesday's State of Sport awards, sponsored by the Utah Sports Commission, Keeton was revealed to be the top vote-getter in the College Male Athlete category, another validation of the success he's had as an Aggie.

The contest got more than 50,000 votes in its various categories. Keeton beat out fellow football stars Star Lotulelei and Reggie Dunn of Utah, but also Weber State phenom and NBA rookie sensation Damian Lillard.

Keeton was first-team all-WAC after throwing for 3,373 yards and 27 touchdowns last season, establishing himself as one of the most prolific quarterbacks in the country.

He was not the only honoree: Gary Andersen was named coach of the year for leading the Aggies on a 11-2 run, the best season in school history. Lone Peak's basketball squad beat out Utah State's football team for top team honors.

Report: Marvin Jean and Matt Lopez to transfer from Utah State

Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports has added Marvin Jean and Matt Lopez to his comprehensive list of players looking to transfer.

The school has not released any statement about anyone leaving the program, but a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed Jean and Lopez are expected to transfer.

Jean was a key member of the rotation this last season after injuries afflicted them. He started 16 games, scored 4.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

Aside from a strong debut, Lopez didn't see much time off the bench this year a season removed from transferring from LaSalle. He averaged 2.3 points per game in just over seven minutes per contest.
