Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• Much "Star Wars" in your future there is. Disney announces plans to put out a new "Star Wars" movie every year starting in 2015. [Entertainment Weekly]

• The 66th Cannes Film Festival has announced its lineup. The competition includes Steven Soderbergh's Liberace biopic (made for HBO), along with the Coen brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis" and Roman Polanski's "Venus In Fur." Out-of-competition films include J.C. Chandor's "All Is Lost," a practically one-man drama starring Robert Redford. [The Hollywood Reporter]

• Regal Theaters, the largest movie-theater chain in America (though with no theaters in Utah), is cutting hours for thousands of employees to under 30 hours a week – so it doesn't have to pay for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. This is after the company posted huge profits and gave their top executives massive pay raises. [ThinkProgress]
