Enslaved by truth

Rod Jensen's "Trib too liberal" (Forum, April 18) is a proper example of why name-calling is never an appropriate substitute for logic. Any newspaper that endorses Gary Herbert for governor and Orrin Hatch for senator cannot be "a left-wing liberal newspaper."

Utah is fortunate to have two excellent newspapers with educated and dedicated employees who understand and support the right of the press to be free. While the truth does make most of us free, others are often enslaved by it, as Jensen's letter clearly demonstrates.
