Women's volleyball: Four Snow College stars moving on to four-year schools

Four members of Snow College's volleyball team signed National Letters of Intent to play at four-year schools this past week. Signing NLIs on Wednesday: * Nicole Koehler, a 6-foot outside hitter from Sandy and Alta High School. Koehler signed with Dixie State College, which plays in the Pacific West Conference and will travel to Hawaii to face conference foes UH-Hilo, Hawaii Pacific and BYU-Hawaii. Koehler had 119 kills for the Badgers last season. * Amy Sorensen, a 5-11 outside hitter from Sandy and Jordan High School. Sorensen has signed with Oregon State. She was named an NJCAA Second-Team All-American after helping the Badgers go 16-9 last season. She led the Badgers in kills, with 278, and digs, with 222, as a sophomore. * Annie Smoot, a 5-11 outside hitter from Holladay and Olympus High School. Smoot has signed with Montana Tech, which plays in the Frontier Conference against the likes of Westminster College. * Katie Vincent, a 6-1 middle hitter from Brigham City and Box Elder High. Vincent has signed with High Point, a school in North Carolina which plays in the Big South Conference. Vincent also plays for Snow College's women's basketball team.
