Utah forecast: Drier and cooler for Wasatch Front

Northern Utahns looked for slightly cooler and drier weather on Tuesday after Monday's periodic rain showers and warmer temperatures.

High temperatures Tuesday for the Wasatch Front were to be in the low-50s, down a few degrees from Monday's highs.

Southern Utahns had a mixed bag Tuesday: highs in the low- to mid-70s with winds of 15-25 mph, just as breezy as Monday's forecast — but 7-10 degrees cooler.

The Utah Division of Air Quality graded the entire state as "Green," or healthy for breathability through the mid-week.

Salt Lake City's high on Tuesday was to hit 52 degrees, down 3 degrees from Monday's forecast; Ogden looked for 51 and 54 degrees, respectively; Provo 53 and 57; Logan 51 and 50; Wendover 53 and 57; Duchesne 50 and 58; Cedar City 58 and 72; St. George 74 and 85; and Moab 58 and 72 degrees.
