The Museum of Natural Curiosity, set to open in 2014 at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, will feature a hands-on experience for children where they can learn about nutrition and exercise, thanks to a $300,000 donation from Intermountain Healthcare.
The museum will feature more than 150 interactive exhibits linked to the arts, sciences, history and culture.
The donation will support construction and the exhibit. The space will feature a kid-friendly environment with interactive activities for guests to learn the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
"This new exhibit will be a wonderful opportunity for families to learn together," said Varden Hadfield, director of major gifts at Thanksgiving Point.
"We are delighted to partner with Thanksgiving Point in its efforts to educate families on the importance of healthy living," said Mikelle Moore, president of the Intermountain Community Care Foundation.
The museum will be adjacent to the existing Thanksgiving Point Gardens.
