Zions Bank semifinalist for Guard and Reserve Award

Zions Bank is a semifinalist for the highest honor the Defense Department gives to employers who support their employees in the National Guard and Reserve.
Zions was chosen by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a committee of the department. Zions is one of 138 semifinalists selected for the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award from 2,899 employers nominated by a Guard or Reserve employee.
Semifinalists typically support Guard and Reserve employees by establishing veteran hiring goals, providing child care for deployed workers, arranging care package drives and granting additional leave for military employees and family members.
The ESGR will announce up to 15 finalists this month.
