Police are hoping someone out there will recognize a Millcreek robbery suspect and help bring him to justice.

Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said Wednesday that the suspect is a 30- to 35-year-old white male with brown hair, thick and long sideburns, a short, light-brown beard. At the time of the April 16 early morning hold up at Clean Express Dry Cleaning, 2945 East, 3300 South, the man also was wearing a dark jacket and light-colored pants.

UPD said the suspect walked up to the counter and initially asked about dry cleaning services, using a false name. He then demanded cash from the clerk, indicating he had a weapon in his pocket. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store on foot.

UPD detectives also have been working with Salt Lake City Police because the same suspect is believed responsible for a robbery at a dry cleaner in Salt Lake City.

UPD released still images captured from the two stores' security camera. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call detectives at 801-743-5950.
