Police want to know if you recognize two burglary suspects captured by security cameras breaking into a South Salt Lake business last month.

South Salt Lake police spokesman Gary Keller on Thursday released images of the men, who stole an estimated $332,000 in commercial photographic equipment from Ron Hill Imagery, 3994 S. Richards St., on March 12.

Keller said the two men — who wore masks, knit caps and gloves — arrived in a small dark-colored minivan and entered the business' door with a crowbar, first using a long piece of wood to break exterior lighting and disable a security camera.

"Once inside the business the suspects went for the most expensive high-end commercial movie cameras and lenses by ripping the doors from the cabinet," Keller said. "The suspects used suitcases and trash cans to haul the loot to the minivan."

Keller said it appears the suspects, who used head lamps to work in the darkness, knew the layout of the business well, and where to find the more lucrative items to steal.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call South Salt Lake police at 801-840-4000.
