No one hurt in hard landing at southern Utah airport

A single-engine airplane made a hard emergency landing shortly after take off from southern Utah's Bryce Canyon Airport.
Airport Assistant Manager Tye Ramsay said Monday that none of the six people aboard the turbo prop aircraft was hurt. The passengers boarded another aircraft and took off about an hour later.
The incident occurred about 8 p.m. Sunday, a Garfield County sheriff's dispatcher said.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating why the aircraft, which was heavily damaged, lost power and had to return.
