End tax loophole

Congratulations to David Davis, head of the Utah Retail Merchants Association, for a fair and balanced analysis of sales tax issues ("A fair tax on Internet sales," Opinion, May 1).
Local retailers create local jobs and improve local economies. They deserve our support wherever possible. I hope Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee will support Utah retailers by closing the Internet tax loophole.
