Timpanogos Symphony to present its 'Salute to Youth' concert this weekend

On May 3 and May, the Timpanogos Symphony will present its "Salute to Youth" concert, which will feature winners of its first annual Aspiring Musicians Competition, which consists of a concerto and conducting competition.

With a field of 71 applicants, the tough auditioned competition yielded 7 soloists plus a youth conductor.

The concert will be at the Timberline Middle School Auditorium (500 W. Canyon Crest, Road, Alpine) at 7:30 p.m. each night.
