Ma Nature has a reward for northern Utahns who spent this past week's mornings chilled, shivering and shaking — a return to more typical spring weather this weekend.

A Hard Freeze Warning once more in effect Friday morning — this time for the southwestern quarter of the state — should be the last until next fall. High temperatures Saturday along the Wasatch Front were to flirt with the low-70s, with a slight chance of afternoon rain showers.

Southern Utahns looked for highs in the upper-80s, about 5 degrees warmer than temperatures forecast for Friday.

There was this trade off, however: air quality was to rate just "Yellow," or compromised grades in Salt Lake, Weber, Utah, Tooele, Duchesne and Uintah counties on Saturday.

Salt Lake City's official high Saturday was expected to hit 70, up a degree from Friday's forecast; Ogden looked for 69 and 67 degrees, respectively; Provo 71 and 72; Logan 67s; Wendover 70 and 71; Duchesne 67s; Cedar City 75 and 73; St. George 88 and 85; and Moab 79 and 72 degrees.
