A woman was in critical condition and her daughter in serious condition Friday, the day after they were injured in a one-vehicle crash in Syracuse.
Syracuse police Lt. Heath Rogers said the 34-year-old woman apparently suffered an unspecified medical crisis when she crashed her Ford Explorer into a utility pole. The accident occurred about 5 p.m. Thursday near 1700 South and 2300 West.
The woman was taken by helicopter to McKay-Dee Hospital Center in Ogden, while her 10-year-old daughter was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance.
Neither the names nor specific injuries suffered by the two were being released on Friday.
