WASHINGTON • An 83-year-old woman is missing after arriving at a Washington airport on a flight from Barbados.

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police say Victoria Kong was last seen Friday evening at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. She was walking north along a paved trail for hikers and bicycles.

Kong's family says they were waiting for her to be escorted off the flight by wheelchair, but she never showed up. Granddaughter Alexandria Anderson says Kong is showing some early signs of dementia and they're very concerned for her.

Police say the fair-skinned Hispanic woman is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and short black hair and was last seen in a long purple or brown dress with a flower print and sandals.
