The Utah baseball team makes its final Pac-12 road trip with a weekend series at Washington, beginning Friday at 6 p.m. (MDT).
The series between the Utes (16-26, 5-19 Pac-12) and Huskies (17-29, 8-13) continues on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's games will be aired on the Pac-12 Networks.
"We need to somehow find a way to get over the hump and make that play, get that big pitch and get that important hit," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "We're close but we still have to close things out. We have to win the seventh, eighth and ninth innings and that's something we haven't done the last three weeks."
Mitch Watrous starts for Utah on Friday followed by Dalton Carroll on Saturday and Tanner Banks on Sunday.
The Huskies recently won two of three against Arizona and defeated Seattle in a midweek game.
