Recycle electronic waste • Simply Mac is hosting a free electronic waste recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Maverik Center, 3200 S. Decker Lake Drive. Businesses and organizations are asked to register at simplymac.com/recycle before dropping off recyclable electronics on Friday. The general public is asked to come on Saturday; registration not required. Acceptable items include computers, speakers, phones, radios, game systems and cameras.
Art exhibit • An exhibition of Vietnamese art and artifacts will kick off with a free reception from 6 to 8 tonight at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South. The exhibit runs through June 26.
